"Blooms" Original painting

This is a 9x12 acrylic painting on canvas. 

I painted this with the feeling of being pulled in before you even realize why.

The red came first, bold, impossible to ignore.I wanted to draw you in immediately , to feel warm and a little consuming, like stepping into a moment that already has energy and presence.

then i added the blue vase as a place to stay. Something steady and calm inside all the intensity of red. I didnt want this piece to feel overwhelming but balanced, a softness you could settle into.
